The iPhone Spotlight search has always been the least attractive part of the iOS UI as it always stays on the extreme left of the home screen making it a bit difficult to access. However, if you are on a jailbroken handset, then the same Spotlight can be accessed from anywhere in style.
The Cydia tweak called Weasel is created only to make the iOS Spotlight feature a bit convenient to access. The developer has included an option allowing you to activate it with an Activator action, so that user can launch Spotlight from anywhere on the iPhone.
